Margaret Shumate

Margaret Shumate, returning for her fifth Festival, is a stage manager originally from Fort Worth, Texas with experience spanning orchestra, opera, theatre, and dance. Holding a BFA in Stage and Production Management from Carnegie Mellon University, she is the Orchestra Stage Manager for the Omaha Symphony Orchestra, and has worked recently with the Bloomington Symphony (IN), The Indiana University Opera & Ballet Theatre, The Seagle Festival, Fort Worth Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, and others. She is delighted to be spending another June in Chestertown.
