Jeff Padgett, stage manager, is a North Carolina native currently living in Asheville, NC where he is the technical director at the Diana Wortham Center for the Performing Arts. Prior to this, he resided in New Bern, NC where he was the production manager at Rivertowne Players. He studied theatre design and production at Western Carolina University and graduated with a BA in Stage & Screen.
Mr. Padgett’s previous experience was in New York City where he worked in the art department for Law & Order: Organized Crime and was the master carpenter at Playwrights Horizons. His technical theatre experience includes design, scenic carpentry, technical direction, lighting, rigging, and stage management. He has worked at several regional theaters and for Royal Caribbean.
He began stage managing for orchestra in 2016 at Brevard Music Center. He is excited to return to NMF for his seventh season!
