Dannel Espinoza

Dannel Espinoza is a founding member of Project Fusion and serves as Assistant Professor of Saxophone at The University of Southern Mississippi. Known for his expressive phrasing and dynamic sensitivity, he has performed internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, appearing in collaborations that range from contemporary premieres to multimedia projects with his duo partner and wife, harpist Kristina Finch. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music (DMA, Minor in Conducting), with earlier degrees from Florida State University and Northern Arizona University, Dr. Espinoza remains dedicated to developing innovative repertoire and championing the next generation of artists through teaching, commissioning, and performance.
